With millions of walleyes in Lake Erie, this is our main target fish during the summer. Most of the charters are interested in catching walleyes although there are other fish that are desired.

The walleye start schooling in early June and are catchable. Starting then, the fishing progresses. It keeps getting better as the summer goes, right through September.

The Last few seasons the average size of the walleyes caught on my boat were 5 to 7 pounds. There were at least 2 to 3 fish weighing between 8 to 10 pounds caught each and every charter last summer.

In 1998, 90%of my charters took home their limit. With another 5% falling a few fish short of everybody on board catching a limit.
