Lake Erie has one of the world’s best small mouth bass fisheries. I run bass charters starting in May, right after the spawn. Fishing is outstanding. We average around 70 to 100 bass per charter. At this time, until the 2^nd week in June, you are only allowed to keep one bass 20" or better. This is Pennsylvania’s trophy bass season. Numerous bass are caught over 4 pounds. Most of the bass average from 2 to 4 pounds. If you are looking to mount a Trophy bass, this is the time to do it.
